The Nock Art Foundation presents its major show in 2015 with the grand opening of a unique exhibition at its Art Space in Wong Chuk Hang, featuring the works of two of Australia’s most renowned contemporary painters, Elisabeth Cummings and Luke Sciberras.

The “Flying Goose Hill” reveals over 40 original works created during the artists’ exploration of Hong Kong in 2015, taken with the founder of The Nock Art Foundation, leading Hong Kong financier and art collector Michael Nock.

During their residency, Cummings and Sciberras were invited to respond to Hong Kong’s vibrant, exciting cityscape. It was uncharted territory for both artists who are best known for their work in the Australian Outback and other remote locations. They accepted the challenge, making paintings that stand apart from anything they have previously produced. The result is a large collection of oils and works on paper that map out new ways of seeing and depicting the city. For the artists, their time in Hong Kong has left an indelible impression.
